National Sporting Organization

Brooklin Martial Arts is a recognized member club of WAKO Canada which is the National Sporting Organization that oversees the sport of kickboxing.

WAKO Canada is the exclusive representative for Canada with WAKO (World Association of Kickboxing Organizations). They are responsible for promoting and developing kickboxing in Canada, including organizing national championships and providing opportunities for athletes to compete internationally. 

Sporting Disciplines WAKO Canada oversees include Tatami (e.g., Point Fighting, Light Contact) and Ring (e.g., K1, Low Kick) disciplines. 

PROVINCIAL SPORTING ORGANIZATION (PSO)

Brooklin Martial Arts is a recognized member club of Kickboxing Ontario. Kickboxing Ontario is the Sporting Organization that oversees the sport of kickboxing in Ontario. Kickboxing Ontario is the provincial affiliate for WAKO CANADA

A Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) is a non-profit organization that governs a specific amateur sport within a province or territory. They are formally recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport (in Ontario) and the National Sport Organization (NSO) for that sport. PSOs play a crucial role in developing athletes, coaches, and officials, and often partner with regional associations, clubs, and leagues to deliver their sport.

BREAKING & COMBATIVE TAE KWON DO FEDERATION

Brooklin Martial Arts is a recognized member club of the American Breaking & Combative Tae Kwon Do Federation ABCTF)

The mission of the American Breaking & Combative Tae Kwon Do Federation is to bring traditional Korean Martial Arts schools across the US and Canada together in an environment that encourages its members to grow and prosper into the Martial Artists they dream of becoming, through collaboration of curriculum, rank promotions, sanctioned tournaments, and events.

We focus on producing quality events that demonstrate the integrity of the schools, the individuals and the Martial Arts themselves.
